The next scheduled Booster Club meeting is February 15 at 6:30 p.m. at the High School (in the library area). The February meeting is also the beginning of our planning for some of our big spring events. Therefore, the regular meeting at 6:30 will be followed by a GOLF TOURNAMENT COMMITTEE meeting. The Booster Club appreciates any volunteers who would assist with the Golf Tournament committee, as the proceeds from the Golf Tournament will be needed to fund our Athletic Banquet, as well as to continue our support of Bushland High School athletic programs for the remainder of the year.

The BHS Booster Club Golf Tournament (Scramble) is already scheduled for May 2 at 2 p.m. at the Ross Rogers course. Please continue to support our student athletes via the golf event by either volunteering to be on the planning committee, by assisting with registration and encouraging participation, or by being on a golf team on the day of the event.

NOMIINATIONS FOR NEW BOOSTER CLUB OFFICERS WILL BE MADE AT THE MARCH 3 BOOSTER CLUB MEETING. Nominees must be current members of the Booster Club in addition to being the parent or guardian of a student who will be enrolled at BHS for the 2010-’11 academic year. OFFICER ELECTIONS WILL BE CONDUCTED AT THE APRIL 7, 2010, BOOSTER CLUB MEETING.
